GMP Launches It's Masterpiece Line
GMP announced it's new Masterpiece line of cars. Each car will be crafted from over 700 parts. The first car, a 1967 Ferrari 330 P-4, will be available in July 2008 and will retail for $269.95. This car was driven by Jackie Stewart and Chris Amon at Brands Hatch in 1967. It was the winning race car and clinched the championship for Ferrari. GMP has pulled out all the stops on this car. The details are incredible. I can't wait to compare this car to the fine cars from CMC.

Holy Bat Caper a Surprise from UPS
I got a very nice surprise from UPS today. Opened up the case and in it were three more cases of Pixar Cars. I expected them, but buried underneath was a 1:18 scale 1966 Batmobile. I was stunned to get this. Mattel seems to be doling out these a little at a time. I tell you, for a standard consumer version, the quality is pretty nice. The car looks pretty much like the car below except the bat on the door is smaller and the back antennae is black. I can’t wait to get my hands on an elite version to compare the two.
